Bike Week Competition - Enter before 4th June 2020

I am running 3 great competitions during bike week with cycling-related online vouchers to be won.

Competition 1 – Bike Diary

Prize £100 online voucher

Our 1st competition for bike week is Log your journey and showcase your journey in a fun and unique way, so get creative guys. This can be photographing or drawing your journey, maybe creating a video/blog like journey. I am looking for something that celebrates your cycling to work and being active.

Competition 2 -   Family Weekend Warrior

Prize £75 for online bike voucher

This is one for all the family out on their bikes. Simply take a great photograph showcasing you all out on your bikes. This is an open competition for everyone in your family so location is important; get creative.

Competition 3 - Decorate your bike

Prize £50 for online bike voucher

So lets get arty in this one. Decorate your bike any way you feel fit. Maybe have a theme like turning your bike into a dragon for example. The only rule to this competition is once the bike is done it must be able to ride a short distance, safely so send a photograph and short video clip.

All entries need to be emailed to kieran.coyle@sustrans.org.uk on or before Sunday 14th June.

All winners will be announced on Tuesday 16th June and showcased here on the TWIST West website. Once announced, the online voucher will be emailed to the winners.

BIKE LOANS FOR KEY WORKERS

The Bike loan scheme for key workers is very popular at the moment and I had the pleasure of loaning out a bike to Jennifer O'Kane who is going to use the bike to cycle to work. Jennifer is going to be cycling to Altnagelvin Hospital and ditching her car. If you are interested in cycling to work for bike week please get in touch and I can provide advice with a bike for you to ‘try before you buy’ on the cycle to work scheme https://twistwest.org/service/cycle-work-scheme
