I am a social worker with the CMHT in Oak Villa. I have recently joined the trust's gym membership scheme, and now have the opportunity to atttend keep fit, yoga, swimming and can also have personal fitness training. I feel that this will build on my fitness level so that I can pass this on to work colleagues and help keep me motivated. The grounds in Oak Villa are perfect for getting out for a short walk and fresh air at lunch time and I hope to gather some work colleagues to do the same.
My role is Macmillan Admin Support Worker at the Health and Wellbeing Campus at Altnagelvin. My job is to support clients affected by cancer and longterm conditions. Hi. I work as the Exercise Professional for the Condition Management Programme (CMP). My role is to encourage participation in activity or exercise to people whose physical or mental health is limiting their ability to obtain work or to remain in work. I get to engage people in sessions of Pilates, moving & toning circuits, walking, swimming or whatever interests them and I get to see the improvements this makes to their health, their attitude, their confidence and their ability to deal with both day-to-day challenges as well as work.
